It is covered with white marble tiles from Myanmar to symbolize the purity of Buddha. It is not only the largest statue of Buddha in Phuket but has the honor of being the largest white marble Buddha statue in the world. Around this statue is also a 7-hectare Buddhist garden designed as a place for meditation, relaxation and peace. Do remember that when visiting a Buddhist temple, proper attire must be worn and shoes must be removed when entering the temples.
